Each entry in the list will offer information regarding meeting days and times plus a number of choices whereby you can be transferred to the website of an organisation, send an email or text message to the organiser, view the location on a map or find a contact number to call.

We have a menu of two choices (such as beef stew and veg, or salmon in a sauce and veg followed by sticky toffee pudding or cheesecake.) Then tea & coffee is served. We sit down to eat at 1 pm and we usually finish around 2:45 and we are open to anyone over 60. We meet in the ballroom and everyone is served. Anyone who wants to come along has only to call on the Thursday before the Sunday on either contact number to book a place. It is a really enjoyable occasion offering entertainment most Sundays, good food, friendship and is just a lovely experience. New people are always welcome. Our groups include French, History, Italian, Lunch Group, Mah Jong, Photography, Quiz and Games, Scottish Country Dancing, Scrabble and Sewing Bee. Joining is simple - just come along to one of our open meetings and pay at the door. New members are welcome at any time. Non-members are welcome to attend any speaker meetings that interest them. However, our study groups are for members only.

There are open meetings for the whole group fortnightly. Sometimes a guest speaker entertains us, or the afternoon might feature a poetry reading, a DVD or a quiz. Afterwards, we enjoy a wee blether over tea and biscuits, and catch up with group news. There is also a small group library. We also have special outings from time to time, such as our popular New Year lunch.
