There are open meetings for the whole group fortnightly. Sometimes a guest speaker entertains us, or the afternoon might feature a poetry reading, a DVD or a quiz. Afterwards, we enjoy a wee blether over tea and biscuits, and catch up with group news. There is also a small group library. We also have special outings from time to time, such as our popular New Year lunch. Our groups include French, History, Italian, Lunch Group, Mah Jong, Photography, Quiz and Games, Scottish Country Dancing, Scrabble and Sewing Bee. Joining is simple - just come along to one of our open meetings and pay at the door. New members are welcome at any time. Non-members are welcome to attend any speaker meetings that interest them. However, our study groups are for members only.
