The aim of the Club is to provide bowling facilities for the residents of Nairn and the surrounding area. We warmly welcome visitors to the Club and encourage residents and tourists alike to take advantage of the green and bowling facilities. The Club is open for "spoons" on a Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm and on Friday evening at 7pm. Visitors are welcome to participate. You are very welcome to come and enjoy a game of bowls at the Club or even just to come along and sit and watch. Bowls, jacks, mats, etc are available in the clubhouse.

Jazz Nairn brings nationally and internationally recognised musicians to Nairn throughout the year. Details of all gigs are on our website. In November 2018 we are presenting a 3 day 'Festival of Jazz' at venues in Nairn. Full programme will shortly be on the website.

Affiliated to Chest, Heart and Stroke, Scotland, these sessions are led by a qualified physiotherapist to help you keep your heart healthy or if you have already experienced heart problems to continue recuperative therapy. You can do as much or as little as you can manage. Friendly social setting with option of tea and biscuits after for those that wish to stay and chat. There are open meetings for the whole group fortnightly. Sometimes a guest speaker entertains us, or the afternoon might feature a poetry reading, a DVD or a quiz. Afterwards, we enjoy a wee blether over tea and biscuits, and catch up with group news. There is also a small group library. We also have special outings from time to time, such as our popular New Year lunch. Our groups include French, History, Italian, Lunch Group, Mah Jong, Photography, Quiz and Games, Scottish Country Dancing, Scrabble and Sewing Bee. Joining is simple - just come along to one of our open meetings and pay at the door. New members are welcome at any time. Non-members are welcome to attend any speaker meetings that interest them. However, our study groups are for members only.

Moderate health walks – up to an hour in duration. Beginning with a warm up, moving on to a brisker pace (but still enjoying a chat as we walk!), and then to a slow down before stopping for any socialising that is on offer that day! Healthy walks to enable people in the Highlands to achieve better physical health, improve mental wellbeing, attain a healthy weight and encourage interaction by socialising with others while enjoying the beautiful natural environment we have in the Highlands.

Nairn Sailing Club is a friendly and informal club based on the harbour front in Nairn. We have a popular cruiser section offering racing and social cruises throughout the year. The Nairn Wine Circle is an enthusiastic group of individuals who all derive pleasure and fun from making Country Wines, from learning and honing their winemaking skills and from enjoying the company of other enthusiastic Country Winemakers. A regular program of meetings and events are held throughout the year and a stand is always taken at the Annual Nairn Farm Show in July. The Circle welcomes winemakers and non winemakers interested in the social activities of the Circle. We are always happy to welcome new members or to chat to potential members or just to chat about making country wines - so please get in touch.

Awaken the artist within you and explore hidden talents. Our doors are open to anyone who loves painting, drawing and all things arty. The society owns its own art studio situated in Laing Hall. Although many members paint at home, the structured workshops and daily sessions offer support and guidance from fellow peers. Painting and drawing in all mediums and styles is undertaken and the studio provides a friendly atmosphere to all who create their artwork within. The hall is only used by our society which helps to keep it a creative haven. We currently have 70 members ranging from 15 to fabulous! If you are new, you are welcome to have a few taster sessions to decide if its something you would enjoy. Equipment,brushes, canvases etc. are available to use and a wide selection of books for reference, to borrow and to buy.
